HOW WE HELP

Our style of therapy can be described as down-to-earth, conversational, non-prescriptive and often laced with humour. In our sessions, we hope to hold the full context of your lived experience: the social, cultural, political and historical.

REACH OUT

The best therapist for you is one you feel most comfortable with. We welcome you to call for a free 20-30 min phone consultation with either Gloria or Wayne to see whether we might be a good fit for you.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We are living and practicing our work on ancestral, occupied homelands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations.

We are dedicated to listening and amplifying Indigenous voices with humility to advance First Nation sovereignty. We cannot escape our positionality as settlers here and are committed to living in a conscious and ethical relationship with this land and its rightful people.

We do this through connection with food and land justice movements, and monthly commitment through Real Rent Duwamish (Duwamish Tribe, Coast Salish Peoples). We embrace the challenge and joy of continuing education to deepen our understanding of this place, its people, and the work we can do to pursue ethical and compassionate ways of being as we practice.
